Have you ever considered becoming a member of the Choir? Our choir provides music for weekend liturgies, as well as music for special celebrations during the Christmas and Easter seasons. Choir starts singing at the 8:30AM Mass on Sunday Sept. 23rd. Clearances are required.

40 Days for Life from Sept. 26th through Nov. 4th, you’re invited to join other Christians for 40 days for Life-40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. You're also invited to stand and peacefully pray during a 40 day vigil in the public right of way outside Planned Parenthood, 933 Liberty Avenue. Children’s Liturgy begins on Sunday, September 16 and lasts through May. It will be held every Sunday with exceptions noted in the bulletin. Children’s Liturgy takes place during the scripture readings and homily of the 11:00 a.m. mass and offers children a chance to participate in the Liturgy of the Word at a level they can understand with the mass readings and other corresponding activities adapted for their age and developmental level.

Clean White Socks for men or women will be collected during the months of September and October by the Ladies of Charity for Operation Safety Net. The socks being collected will help alleviate foot infection and provide a degree of comfort to the unsheltered homeless. Baskets will be in the gathering space for the collection of the socks.

A few seats remain if you are interested in joining Deacon Dale DiSanto of St. Angela Merici parish and other pilgrims from the eight parishes here in the McKeesport area as we travel to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. This pilgrimage will be on Sat., Sept. 15th.

This pilgrimage will be on Saturday, September 15. The bus for the entire district will pick up passengers at St. Angela Merici in White Oak and St. Robert Bellarmine in East McKeesport. Buses usually depart around 6AM and return home around 10PM. The cost of the trip if $70.

Come and enjoy fun games, great food, and wonderful company Sunday, September 16 from 1-6 PM at Pioneer Park in Monroeville. We will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks. Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert to add to our table.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society Thrift Stores in Coraopolis, Castle Shannon, Monroeville and Swissvale are in need of volunteers to help presort and prepare donated goods for display and sale in the stores. If you have a few hours of time to donate, your help would be greatly appreciated. The staff are friendly and welcoming and your help can make a great difference to those in need. Adults of any age are welcome.

Father Brennan's Farewell Celebration will be October 6 after the 4 PM Mass. There will be a planning meeting tomorrow Monday September 10 at 7 PM in the parish center. If you have any ideas and cannot make the meeting, please send them to Anita's attention. We need all of you to make this a special night for Father Brennan.

Father Pius is from the Archdiocese of Onitsha, Nigeria. He will reside here at Corpus Christi and will be taking up graduate studies a Duquesne University in the area of communications – digital media! Father Pius has two sisters and four brothers.

Attendance at this three-hour workshop is required for all adults in ministry at St. Patrick Parish (and every throughout the entire Diocese of Pittsburgh). Wednesday, Sept. 19 6:30-9:30pm at St. Michael Parish.
